The Pflersch valley is considered one of the most scenic valleys in South Tyrol; it branches off from the Wipptal valley at Gossensass and extends about 16 km into the Stubai Alps. Our hotel is located in the midst of the mountain world and is only 5 minutes by car from the Ladurns skiing area. The cable car takes you almost from the house to the top in only ten minutes. But also for non-skiers there are countless possibilities: Winter hiking, snowshoeing, ski tours, tobogganing, cross-country skiing and much more. And also in other respects we are always right, so to speak: the Hotel Argentum is namely only a few kilometres away from the historic market town of Gossensass and the beautiful Fugger and shopping town of Sterzing. You can also shop to your heart's content and at preferential prices in the popular Brenner Outlet Centre.
The Ladurns-Gossensass ski area is 5 minutes by car from the hotel and has been awarded as a top ski area by Skiresort.de, the world's largest test portal of ski areas. The total of 15 km of slopes are suitable for beginners as well as for demanding skiers. Of course, there is also a children's ski school and fun park for snowboarders. The Rosskopf ski area (20 minutes by car) and the Ratschings-Jaufen ski area (40 minutes by car) are also in the immediate vicinity.
If you are looking for a change from skiing or are a passionate tobogganist, you will find several attractive options here. The sled run to the Allrissalm starts right at the hotel: 1 hour ascent, 3.5 km downhill run into the valley, can also be used at night. Otherwise, you can take the gondola up to the Ladurns ski area and whiz down the 6.5 km long toboggan run.
